My #ColorMeValentine Posts

Hey there guys!

With the month of March beginning and the end of February coming to a close, I wanted to share with you some of the fun stuff I did last month! I absolutely love Valentine's Day, and adding Disney style into the month of love was my goal. When I saw that Color Me Courtney was running a 14 day Disney love-fest through her Disney account @ColorMeMagic, I knew I just had to participate! Pictured below is the list of days she mapped out:

The idea was that everyone who participated could post a photo on their Instagram with the hashtag #ColorMeValentine for each day's theme. We were encouraged to do as little or as many days as we liked.

While I didn't participate in every day of this challenge, I wanted to share with you the few photos that I did create for Instagram.

DAY #3 ~ Dressy Disney

This was the first day that I participated, and with the dressy theme I knew exactly what I wanted to do! My fiance Nick got me this "made for each other" Mickey & Minnie necklace for part of my Christmas gift, and I knew this was the perfect time to share it. I love that it's adjustable, and the rose gold heart in the center is too cute! I wore this necklace all Valentine's season long, dressed both up and down!

DAY #4 ~ Besties

My older sister Jess has always been my best friend, and we have always shared a love for Disney! She's truly the only one in my life who fully understands what it means to be obsessed with all things regarding the mouse. For this day of the challenge I decided to share a recent picture of us in Disneyland together, and then swipe to a picture of us as kids in Disneyland. I'm so blessed to have so many amazing memories with my sister in our favorite place.

DAY #5 ~ Sweets & Treats
With a theme surrounding goodies, how could I NOT participate!? I love sweet treats and I love these donut ears made by Tangled In Ears Co. They are the cutest and comfiest ears ever, and I couldn't resist sharing them with all of you! I of course had to throw in a donut pun on my lavender letter-board as well. These ears look almost good enough to eat!

DAY #13 ~ Couples

This was the last day that I participated in, and I was so excited to do something that incorporated my own love, Nick! I found these balloons at our local grocery store and they immediately reminded me of the larger ones that are sold in Disneyland Paris! I thought it would be a blast to take pictures with them, and it turned out it was! Nick turned his into a 'light saber' and we ended our photo session with having a duel. So fun.

I hope that you enjoyed seeing what I came up with for the #ColorMeValentine challenge! I had so much fun putting it all together. Don't forget that you can find me on Instagram at @EarsWithEmily and see more content like this.

Have a Magical day,

"To all who come to this happy place..."

Hiya pal!

Finding magic in every day life is my goal. My name is Emily, and I'm a twenty-something gal who is looking to fill my world with all the wonder of Disney. From wearing Minnie ears, to putting together a Bound, you will find me constantly planning my next park outfit. Give me coffee, and everything Cinderella inspired and I'm a happy lady.

I grew up 45 minutes from Disneyland, but now live states away in the northwest. Living far away from the parks can be a drag. Some of us find our day jobs to be less than ~magical~ and even see Disney as a refuge from the mundane. But what if a hidden Mickey is not as hidden as you'd think?

From incorporating Disney style into my wardrobe, to talking about the mouse himself, I'm here to bring you info on all things magical. If you want to look for ways to find magic near you, and talk about the latest and greatest of Disney, then look NO FURTHER. "To all who come to this happy place, welcome."

XOXO,  E M I L Y
